Once day though, she chooses to defy her mother, leaving her "tower" and going to find her love. Despite wanting to outside the other reason why she wants to leave id to find what is on the other side of that darn red string attatched to her. The Prophecy
Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Living a life out of a fairytale story is really not as it is cut out to be. I mean, Cinderella had to clean up a whole mansion by herself every day. Belle had to put up with a housemate who needed a shaver as much as he needed anger management classes. And don't even let me get started with Snow White and her stepmom's drama. Really, Rapunzel of the 21st century? I would rather be a tree. At least I would be contributing oxygen to the world. -------------------- Arianna had lost track of the number of houses, schools and countries she had moved to in order to run away from her crazy stalker until finally her Dad had just had enough and locked her up in the penthouse of The Tower, a building he owned in the city, with only her flamboyant cousin for company. Marinette as Rapunzel
Marinette is the title character of Rapunzel in this story but instead of being trapped in just a tower, it is an entire manor surrounded by a magical curtain to keep it hidden from view. She has been trapped there her entire life by Lila until a chance encounter with the outside world makes her want more. And she sets out to discover why she was raised by Lila(Lila is the Mother Gothel of the story). I have seen other Rapunzel stories done for Marinette where it is the version from the Disney movie Tangled but I decided to write this story from the Barbie as Rapunzel Movie. I also made Marinette the daughter of Felix and Bridgette who were the precursors to Marinette and Adrien for Ladybug and Chat Noir in Miraculous Ladybug. The original story had Bridgette as Ladybug and infatuated with Felix but they decided to scrap these two in favor of Marinette and Adrien.Complete
