The alphabet has been used as the basis for a story relating my journey of discovery, in the world of acrostic writing, a form that I've come to love. Each page begins with a clip from Sesame Streets, Letter of the Day, followed a stanza beginning with the letter 'A, B, C etc A new acrostic which is derived from the first word of the stanza, they don't necessarily relate, but that is all part of the beauty. The final page contains all twenty-six stanzas, which when put together form the whole story. My main aim is to encourage you to see the beauty of this writing form, in the hope that you might be inspired to try it. It might be worth reading some of my work, you will find it's scattered with numerous acrostic poems and stories. The form is stable and flexible and in my works I have been able to adapt it to many other forms, largely prompted by competitions, as yet I've not found one where it didn't work. Feel free to vote, but a comment would be awesome and I guarantee to continue the dialogue with a reply.
