After the brutal death of their parents, Mia and Carson Johnson are forced to pack their things and move to the small town of Beacon Hills. There they get caught up in the Johnson family legacy; hunting. Unfortunately, along the way they meet people, people they're supposed to kill, but they physically can't. The two teenagers will do anything they can to protect each other, even if it means dying for one another.

Fortunately, a freshman comes into Carson's life, also a junior for Mia. The girls begin to see that not everything you hear is correct, not every supernatural creature is a killer.
