On your first day, you get off to a rough start with the Sludge Villain's victim, Katsuki Bakugo. His violence and anger towards you causes you to want to run away at first, but once you get to know him, he turns out to be not such a bad guy.

After Koda moves into the support course, a new space in Class 1-A opens up. Shinsou, whose goal is to become a hero, immediately applies. When he finds he got the place, he's ecstatic, though he doesn't show it, obviously.
