Alfred and Arthur had been dating for a little while, but now they had been just drifting apart. They didn't feel the same way they did when they first started dating, the spark was gone. or so they thought. They bickered and fought over everything nowadays. One day passed, weeks, months, and the big one happened.. The big fight that ended it all. Arthur left and the Hollywood Dream Team -dubbed by Francis- had broken up. It absolutely broke the both of them. Arthur learned how to cope; Alfred just wasn't the same. Present day, Arthur is haunted with awful flashbacks of the past, sometimes good as well, he's haunted with memories he'd rather forget. The same goes for Alfred, he just wants to do his job in peace but in all reality he just wants Arthur back, his forever and always. An identical pair of twins, the older Alfred, and the younger, Matthew, are junior students at a high school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They are living in an abusive foster home. Matthew is studious and is kind to everyone, while Alfred does anything to protect his younger twin and is a player on the football team. Arthur, his husband, Francis, and their daughter, Victoria, move to the US for Francis's job. Arthur begins teaching at the high school Victoria starts attending and has the two twins in his classes. Matthew is kind to him, while Alfred is quite the opposite. Arthur soon discovers the devastating life the boys are living through. {STORY DISCONTINUED and I'm probably never gonna finish it whoops} The world is ending, obviously. America never really paid attention to the news, only Good Morning America, of course, but when the flooding and crippling storms started in the south and worked their way to D.C., he got nervous. There were warnings, scientists predicted the amount of blah, blah, science, science, random crap, big words. . . World catastrophe. The Storm. Bunkers and shelters were built, supplies were stocked, factories and farmers worked around the clock before the Storm could hit them. One might think the United States was prepping for war, and in a way, they were. They had to fight for their lives. Alfred is alone in a bunker, panicking for his people and brothers and the rest of the countries like Japan and Germany. He hears a distant muffled sound above the howling winds, a frightened little boy sits in the corner with an old stuffed bunny sucking his thumb. No one notices him. How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker. When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn. Francis moved to America to open up a small café, he ends up sharing a 4 bedroom house with three other people. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary.
