Alianna is the newest member of Seattle Grace/ Mercy West. Richard Webber called her in as the newest member of the General Surgery department, her first day there and she ran straight into Derek Shepard. 
"Hi, oh my god I am so sorry I didn't even see you standing there." Alianna said. The attending started to laugh helping up Alianna. 
"Don't worry, I'm Derek and you are..?" After standing up extending her hand out. 
"Hi, I'm Alianna Torres and I'm-" 
But before she could finish Mark Sloan walked up and cut her off "You are very hot" Stealing the handshake that was offered to Derek. 
After that interaction, Alianna couldn't even think straight. 
Mark was determined to get her attention. 
Derek was in shock over there being another Torres.
