Trouble

Helen Chambers is married to Glen. She works long hours at her uncle's diner much to Glen's chagrin. Helen does this because she is not happy with her life or her relationship. Glen is abusive and controlling, and Helen longs to be free of him. One late night at the diner, Helen meets a woman named Adelaide Harris, and takes an interest in her, especially after she realizes that they both are trying to escape similarly abusive relationships with the controlling men in their lives. Soon a very close friendship evolves, and it doesn't take long for that relationship to deepen as the two run away together and fall into bed together almost immediately. But the men in their lives don't give up so easily and their relationship threatens everything they are and everything they know. Will they continue to risk everything for love even if it means risking their lives?
