Inspired by a horror plot I read online:
A boy had a gift that he could see auras. Green meant that the person was going to live for a long time. Orange meant that they would die soon. And red meant murder or accident soon. When he went to his new school, he was the first in the classroom. A girl walked in. Her aura was red. Then another. Red. And another. Red again. As the class filled up with blinding red lights, he caught sight of his own rosy aura in the screen of the interactive whiteboard. Then the teacher walks in, and the boy turns pale. Because the teacher's aura was a sickly neon green.
