Heather Mathews is a regular girl in her early 20's who has an irregular disorder which she is unaware of. She has been through a lot from when she was 10. She lost her parents when a robber murdered them. Her sister, Ashley was the only survivor when that happened. She swore to take care of Ashley even if she lost her life. But God had another plan, when she was 16, Ashley passed away in a car accident. She is a tough girl who coped up with her family's demise or everyone who knew her thought she was. She spent 2 years in an orphanage. She got bullied there a lot as the girl who apparently killed her parents. The kids tagged her as a killer. But she was strong, she didn't cry. She took up boxing classes when she was under the care of Sister Isabella. Sister Isabella was like a mother she lost when she was young. She grew closer to Sister Isabella. By the time she can open up completely to her, sister Isabella passed away due to cardiac arrest. She didn't show her grief and pain to the world. Always a happy girl is now a girl who lost everything. Jaden D'cruz is an average boy who is not just average in Heather's eyes. She is secretly in love with him. She didn't want to lose him. She decided to hold onto him. Little did she know the irregular disorder in her turned that love to something dangerous, something possessive, something which is too hard to escape from- an obsession.

Her life started out grand; two loving parents, a house in the suburbs, tons of friends; all in all it was a great life. But when Radhika turned 10 life turned upside down. Her parents started arguing non-stop which led to a divorce. Her mom got most of the custody over her and her dad left town to pursue his lifelong dream; being single. When Radhika turned 14 her mother passed and she moved in with her dad. that was when she started becoming mental. Radhika felt like the whole world was against her and she had no one by her side. He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state? When his own father attacks his mother, Caleb begins to think that the police are on to him, trying to unravel his past, thinking that they have realised what happened to cause him to try to commit suicide.
