Amanda Andrews grew up having a normal life. Well, she's adopted, but that doesn't really count. Now, on her first day of college, she sees two people she thought she'd never see again: her old babysitters, and they look no older than they did 10 years ago. They tell Amanda that she's part of something bigger, something immortal. They tell her she's a Keeper.
