This is a story of two boys. Two very different, very much in love boys. These are the lives of Nico di Angelo and Will Solace.
** He felt free, the gazes of his audience not unnerving him in the slightest. The notes flowed effortlessly, fingers moving seamlessly, eyes closed contently. He felt himself swaying to his own music, tapping his foot rhythmically.
When his solo part came, the rest of the band watched along with the audience. They began to clap along, raising his confidence and enthusiasm. He added a few extravagant notes at the end of the sequence, causing everyone to cheer. **

Nico diAngelo didn't really have a problem with moving, he just continued his life how it was before. Writing, listening to music, sitting in the back of the classroom, making sure not to get too close to anyone, and maybe falling asleep in class. Also spending half of his energy keeping himself from falling apart. That is, until he met Will. Will was like medicine for his heart. When Will held his hand, it felt as if he could relax and let go of his troubles, but when he had to let go, that was something he wasn't ready for, causing to have meltdowns for the first time in a long time. Will had been living a rather boring life in his town, same faces, same friends, he wanted change. When the new boy was in some of his classes at the start of the new school year, Will couldn't help but be curious after seeing the same faces almost all of his life. He was drawn to him in some way he couldn't describe, and couldn't help falling for him as they spent more time together. This book has characters that are created by Rick Riordan, yet there are a few, like Nico's father which is a small character that I created. This book has come from my own imagination, and if it seems that parts of the plot are from another story, that is entirely coincidental.Complete

Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. And when his parents allow him to meet werewolf males, he still doesn't feel any connection to any of them. When he sees a small male human brought forcefully into the pack, he suddenly feels something he hadn't felt before. A mate's connection. But, how would Will's pack react to having a human alpha?
