This story is about two souls that are lost, but somehow found each other, and they fell in love.

A male vampire named Stefan Salvatore fell in love with a mortal girl named Elena Gilbert. The moment they met, Stefan believed that they would be together for eternity. Sadly, Elena fell in love with his brother, and Stefan became just a "friend."

A mortal girl named Bella Swan fell in love with a male vampire named Edward Cullen. Sadly, on Bella's 18th birthday, something terrible happened, and a few days later, Edward left her in the forest.

Devastated that Elena doesn't love him, Stefan has decided that it would be for the best to leave Mystic Falls. Before leaving, Bonnie gave Stefan a cryptic message telling him that he would eventually find love when he least expected.
