Alvis Nakiro sings under a stairwell after running his lungs out. He hears someone above him, joining in with a guitar. They sung songs like this for weeks, every week at the same time. Neither tried to figure out who the other was. They had their own things happening.

After a incident involving a few bullies, they finally get to speak one another. It's over radio's, but its the safest way the Stranger could think of. He didn't want Alvis tangled in his past.

But of course, his past doesn't stay in one place for very long.
