Once Upon a Time....
There was a King, who locked up a Princess in a crystal tower guarded by a fire breathing Dragon. For four years the king has sent mighty warriors to slay the beast, but to no avail.
Now, with little hope, the King sends for the mightiest Knight in the realms to slay the Dragon and save his daughter....

That's always how the story starts isn't it? Knight saves Princess from the terrible Dragon. But not every fairytale is so simple. Not every Princess is frail. Not ever Knight is so brave. And not every Dragon is so terrible.
Sometimes it's good to follow the fairytale...
And sometimes it's better to always suspect the unexpected...All Rights Reserved

Welcome to my adventure into writing a short story for the Dragon Princess theme set by @_Once_Upon. If you find the idea of writing to a subject for a competition, make sure you check out Ever After Contests. This is a short story about a fiery princess who vows revenge on her would-be hero. As Nana enters the palace she receives the worst kind of hatred and wickedness from everyone but mostly, her wife's mother, brother and sister. The scary part is they want her dead and accuses her of being the reason the Empress committed an abomination. (PLEASE NOTE (There are no Wolves in this book. Only a few ghosts, Lol. Do take note, this story is rated PG 17+, a girlxgirl story and there might be scenes that would be uncomfortable for some people) #1 in pride

Once upon a time a snow king fell for an apathetic servant, then a prince-turned-bear found true love in a fellow prince who almost shot him in the face. Almost. Then, of course, one can't forget a monster who found himself wanting to be more human. Bit by bit. For love. Protagonists quirky and not, sarcastic and witty and a bit too self-aware. Every fairy tale has their typical happy ending but it looks as though these ones had to take detours and backtrack on the way to theirs... oh well. As long as it ends well, who cares if it's a little bit odd. Each story is its own stand-alone tale of romance, though there may be bonus shorts for some.
