Have you ever wondered what happened before Pearl Jam? Before Bad Radio? Before everything? What was Eddie like before he became Eddie Vedder? Here's a little short story that tries to give a few answers. It's not the classic Pearl Jam era story, it may sound weird at the beginning, but I hope you'll read it to the end ;)

My first Eddie Vedder fanfic. I was so inspired by the other awesome stories on here, I decided to write my own. And of course, inspired by the dripping godliness of Mr. EV himself. I imagined this taking place somewhere besides Seattle (can you guess where?) but imagine wherever you'd like. Also, does not take place in the 90s. Although I love the 90s. Side note: I don't agree with all the opinions of the characters, but that's the fun in writing, isn't it?

Emelia Davis was living her fantasy. She lived in San Diego with her best friend and big time crush Eddie Vedder. He taught her to surf, to sing, and to love. She taught him to paint, to dance like no one was watching, and to smile each day. When she realizes there's nothing more for her in the San Diego scene, she up and moves. She doesn't look back. She doesn't want to look back. But when you don't look back, you're surprised when your past chases you. Even more so when it catches up. Disclaimer: Many characters will be made up and not reflections of real people. Smut will be involved so please read at own risk.
