My life changed forever at the tender age of 12. I was just a scared little girl hiding in the bathroom cabinet afraid to move or speak ,quietly listening to an argument involving my dad and a familiar voice

"Yo luck where the fuck my percent at I'm tired of this shit" a loud bang made me flinch

I started to panic so I peaked my eye through the crack from the cabinet "You one greedy ass nigga ced..I gave you your half so cut the bullshit and leave my house"

my dad paused and sipped from his cup while walking towards the bookshelf "I don't want to hurt you, but you pushin my fucking limits ced"

'Ced' looked at my dad with a hard hateful stare

"Man lucky you really think I'm stupid huh...After all these years I bussed my ass all day just to make 45% of the profit meanwhile your sorry ass ain't did a damn thang.."

ced began to pull something out from under his hoodie slowly as he continued

"you see Brandon...I actually saw you as a brother for once but now I see the real you. nothing but a rat in a box living off of other peoples labor but I'm done with yo shit"
