Have you ever wondered how one person's death can hurt another's life? Well I'll tell you how. Since his death my life has become chaos and now, two years later my mother is moving on, so why can't I do the same? But I know the answer to that question. He was my support, my floor, and now that he's gone I'm in a constant fall and I wonder all the time if I can ever stop falling.
This is a story in which the life of Kaleah Stones, a 16 year old girl, has been in constant imbalance since the death of the most important person in her life and now she will have to go live with her mother's boyfriend and his children, deal with her ever-dwindling grades and facing her biggest nightmare, ice-skating, which she hasn't done since the day he died, but most of all, she will have to deal with the love that begins to warm her heart, that had been frozen since that fateful day. Between family problems, boys, school grades and a skating rink, will she be able to regain her balance and go back to being the same girl as she was before?

Settling Slowly
2015 rolled in with a bang, and it did not have the grace to gift me with a social life that everyone in a one hundred year radius would be jealous of or that is even just the talk of the town. Instead I got myself into a complicated relationship which wasn't much talked about, a relationship that I didn't get into is talked about all the time and university is around the figurative corner. That is where you can factor in people I suppose I should call 'fans', the fascination that comes in with cutlery, pots, pans and other formerly boring things. But let us not forget that my parents are finally getting married and Mum can't shop for lace without me wanting to kill her, add in a dose of sleepless nights, invigorating kisses - which have nothing to do with the sleepless nights and a lot to do with nightmares - Harriet not knowing the meaning of the words "you're done" and Ice Ice Baby is still a thing. We're all growing up (except Dad who will still make inappropriate jokes at every inappropriate moment, some to do with what cannot be done when you're wearing a plaster cast) and holidays are being planned though some are less holiday and more a mad dash to find somewhere to live out in the big wide world without our parents. Savannah is a freshmen, she goes through a very upsetting and a tough past with her mother, her father leaves and her mother dies once they move out of town to sweden, Stockholm. She meets a lot of new people over time and her feelings suddenly become very mixed up. We have mark, her closest friend, but some problems interfere between their point of view of each other, so she thinks of a change. A simple change in by which doing something she loved and still loves doing, and thats a very interesting sport if you're wondering. She meets Adrian, through playing that sport, and in fact, he recognized her directly since she appeared on television in the junior grand prix final competition back home in russia, so they get along pretty easily. As soon as mark finds out that she made more than a friend and that Adrian was a guy too, he had a bad feeling about him, but savannah didn't. They had a-lot of great memories together that none could ever forget, so he asked her to fly along with him to a very pleasant country, it is well know and very interesting. She gladly made a decision and on the flight, her heart was beating way too fast, on the plane, which was when once someone walked next to her seat. Who could it be?
