Into the Light

Her life is running. Running in as straight of a line away from danger as she can. Coming out of the woods only when it ends and begins on another side of a small town. She hunts for her food and runs at the sound of anything that may be bigger than her prey. Overly cautious and terrified of staying in one place she doesn't know how to act when she stumbles into a man that makes her feel alive for the first time. His voice sends shivers down her spine and his hands send electricity through her body. He is perfect in every way.

His life is peaceful. Running a pack was like breathing for him and he could do it in his sleep. He is friends and allies with the packs surrounding him. But he is known to have one of the best warriors in the paranormal world. He prides himself on how good he is at keeping his pack, his family safe. One thing is for sure, peace does not last long. When his Beta tells him there is a rogue spotted in the middle of his territory near children and women he runs to protect them. Instead of killing a rogue that day, he finds the woman he has been waiting for since he turned sixteen. The second thing that happens is she tries to get away before telling him her name.
