"I want to break up with you"

"What a nice joke Nick. Haha" I laughed sarcastically but I was already trembling. He didn't respond and I instantly felt the heaviness of the atmosphere and saw that he was dead serious.

Now I am panicking.

"What? Break up? Why all of a sudden? Did I do something wrong? Did I humiliate you in a worse way possible?" I asked him with urgency as the pool of tears started to form in my eyes.

"I loved you Meg, but I just couldn't keep on holding unto you. I just fell out of love and I don't want to continue this relationship because it is unfair to both of us."

"Unfair? Why? Is... Is there someone else?" I quietly asked, wiping away the tears that are now falling freely from my eyes.

"Yes." He simply said. And before I could even respond, he looked at me straight in the eye and said, "Meg, I'm a guy, I have my needs... and you... you cannot satisfy my needs, I mean you refused to and we've been together for two fucking whole years. I'm just tired of waiting. It seems like you don't love me enough."
