Y/N tiptoed into her room, with a single cupcake in her hand. She knew it was his birthday and so she had made a single coffee jelly flavoured cupcake in celebration, even though she hadn't seen him in years.

Lighting the single candle in the cupcake, she quietly waited until the clock struck midnight, signalling that she could blow it out.

"Happy birthday Kusuo." She yawned.

Japan ; 16 August

"Come on Saiki-chan! Blow out your candles and make a wish!" Teruhashi clasped her hands together and everyone else nodded.

"You can't tell us what you wish for though, because then it won't come true." Kaido smiled at the pink haired boy.

To entertain the group, Saiki leaned forward slightly and closed his eyes. He at first wanted to wish for coffee jelly, until something- or someone else, jumped into his mind. He gently exhaled, extinguishing the small flames while thinking to himself.

'I wish Y/N would come back home.'
