Mystery
Amateur writer Jimena "Jimmy" Salome Vega-Cuentista is jolted out of her writers block when she meets Wendy Dorena Oleander, who claims to have had supernatural encounters with ghosts in the past. Their relationship is built on Wendy's outlandish story of her time at the Corentine mansion, which, to Jimmy's surprise, really did exist. Delving deeper, Jimmy inserts some of her own research into the book to shed some light on the historical context of the victims who died at the estate wether by design or accident, while Wendy describes the few weeks that changed her life forever. --- After leaving home for the first time, Wendy comes across a mansion on a tiny island off the coast of New Orleans for an extraordinarily cheap price. She decides to stay in it for a trial period and unwittingly stumbles into a labyrinth of curses, secrets, and murder, all created by the devious Harriet Mara, who may not be as dead as Wendy believed.
