From Sparks To Eruptions

After the Portal was shattered ten years by a group of human terrorists, the worlds of inklings and humans are severed. But that isn't the real problem. Now the two species are split in two. Half of the humans are trapped in Xentro and half of the inklings are trapped on Earth.

Eiren (Air-Ren), an inkling that has grown up on Earth is about to discover many terrifying truths about her family's past, all the while trying to protect her friends from the human terrorists that crashed the Portal ten years ago. The Portal was not their last attack, and they would not be her last enemy.

Loella (Low-Ella), an inkling that has grown up in Xentho, the inkling world, has to go through rigorous training as a human medical scientists after the humans trapped in Xentho have started to develop a fatal, unknown illness. She thought the Portal was the last attack, but now the humans have turned on themselves.

Now they've both been dragged into a plot to rebuild the Portal, but a job that was supposed to ensure the safety of everyone might cause more harm than good. And it'll definitely be dangerous.
