If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this? You were just with your other friends and some other dragons playing Air Kick Ball while in the air. you and your friend Khailem the grungel were winning and about to make another goal. then that's when it happened, 3 Viking ships landed on our island and started shooting arrows at us. you quickly flew over to your parents and Khailem and other dragons started to fire back at them, protecting us. My mother quickly took me and my sister away as my father fought. we were almost to the hidden hideout. then a knet came out of no were and we got caught. we fell to the ground as Vikings surrendered us. i was frightened about what was going to happen to us. Our mother tried to protect us, but they shot a arrow at her head and died. they did the same thing to my sister. i cried in tears which caught their attention. they whispered to each other and then one walked up to me and said. "Today is your lucky day freak, you will be on sell." i tried to back away from him as much as i could, but there was no use. they dragged me from the knets to their ship as i was to scared to fight them.
