A 1400 words story written for JustWriteBits -Prompt, September 2019- The Midnight Creature.
In the middle of a tranquil night on 15 September, there was a witch named Marcie Scrattzackheinz who was reading a potions book, then she got a message on her non-wizardphone from her good friend, Lupin Potthoughts, came to ask a favour and explained that he haven't sleep because he heard of strange noises in downstairs, however his twin brother, Paddy, was been sleeping. Whom were these strange noises come from?

When Harry came past the hospital to make sure Snape was okay, the creature flared up and chose him. Severus knows he can't be with Harry. But he will die otherwise. He says nothing and begins to deteriorate. Concerned, Harry demands to know what the problem is so Snape begrudgingly tells him. Harry is torn between accepting and not wanting to at all, but gives in, not wanting Snape to die after everything he'd done. Creature goal completed, Snape turns his back on everything and hides away. When news of Harry Potter's child hits the front page three years later, Severus' creature nearly dies, taking Snape with him. Only Harry can save him. But does he deserve it? Severus Snape A Soul Undiminished
This book is now available through Amazon and kindle! It was definitely a process getting it published, but my parents wanted me to accomplish this before they passed away, so no regrets. I wish I could work on it again, maybe add layers. It starts off a little heavy on the "romance", and then I think it finds its own groove, but overall I'm happy with the final product. I always appreciate it when people purchase it, but you are more than welcome to read it here. If you do buy one, please leave me a rating/comment. It's under my pen name Robin Ray on Amazon. I reposted it here for everyone to read, but I think it's also nice to read in paper book form. I buy one for myself every Christmas and end up gifting it:)I really felt inspired to write it, and as strange as it sounds, I felt that Alan Rickman helped guide me along the way. When I read it, it makes me feel less lonely, and the characters feel like real friends to me. I hope you also find something meaningful in my book. I've started on the sequel...Refuge, but it's been difficult to get back to it. He put those memories aside for now...he had relived them a lifetime's worth in his mind over the years. He turned his thoughts back to the present, and the woman who was presently in the very next room. He relented slightly as he felt a familiarity pass over him, and he groaned lightly, feeling as if this wound had been touched at its deepest core, then had been set to healing, and he drifted off into an exhausted sleep before he could put a finger on the source of the warm familiarity he had felt, and the magic that would not show itself until the proper time.Complete
