Mary Alice Cullen "Alice" was born in 1901. She does not remember her human life, only that she was turned by a vampire and many years later found Jasper Whitlock and the Cullens. Isabella Marie Swan "Bella" was born in 2002 and raised by her mother Renee most of her life as her mother and father - Charlie - divorced early into Bella's childhood. She lived in Pheonix with Renee and Phil - Renee's 2nd husband - until she was 17, where she moved to Forks and met the Cullens.
She thought she was in love with Edward before he left her in the woods. This is where our story begins.
