Darkness might be crippling, but the absence of love in the light is devastating.

A young woman wakes from a coma after five years with no memory of who she is. There's just one thing on her mind, find a home and if she can, get her memories back, but her patronising doctor shook her resolve.

A previous slip up that led to the forging of a vow makes Kian Lincoln the arrogant and emotionless doctor he is now known as. Even in the appearance of this patient with amnesia, he is hellbent on sticking to his vow, but that causes his vow and heart to be at loggerheads.

When the past is unravelled and friendships are tested, will they find what they need in each other, or is there no hope for the sparks that ignite?

To Heal A Heart: A Holby City Fan Fiction (Complete and updated) (Kian & OC #1) by SamanthaMarkle92
19 parts Complete
Recently #3 in Holby City fan fiction! #15 in Ramin Karimloo tagged stories in January 2021! Note: This is a non-canon fan fiction that has Kian leaving Holby after his accident and developing a relationship with an original character. His drug addiction relapse, and the hospital shooting that leads to Jac leaving, don't happen. To give the story a nice closed ending, I added two bonus chapters. The second one features Jac. Surgeon Kian Madani is silently struggling with a series of events that happened just over a year ago while working in the Darwin Ward; the death of an ex-girlfriend, his guilt over a colleague's mental break, and a serious accident that he was lucky to have survived. Not to mention the death of his wife Vanessa a few years earlier. In an effort to start over, he transfers to another hospital to work and tries to get his life back on track. One late Friday night at a pub, he runs into a young woman named Haley who works at the hospital gift shop. After an emotional conversation, Haley tells Kian that she's been kicked out by her landlord due to late rental and is terrified of becoming homeless. Seeing that she's in no shape, Kian let's her crash at his flat and tries to help her deal with her neglectful father and her own unpredictable moods. It doesn't take Kian long to realize that he is falling in love with Haley because she looks like Bea, his deceased ex-girlfriend, and is mentally fragile like his friend and colleague Jac. When Haley suddenly vanishes from his flat, Kian puts the pieces together and fearing the worst, heads out to find her. The destination ends being a place he'd thought he'd never return to, and the journey home will heal them of the past the both carry.

A Romance - Thriller. •~• An accident brings Laura Taiwo to a coma. After a year, she is awake with no memory of the people around her especially the handsome, sexy doctor who claims to be her husband. But she seems to remember a nightmare she's been having for a year. . . in a coma. Her nightmare not only shatters her whole world, but it brings her closer to the real one. Excerpt🎬: "You like what you see?" He crossed his arms over his chest, aligning his muscles and raising his ash polo shirt which gave her a great view of his Calvin Klein boxers. Being a chicken, she avoided his steamy gaze and gave an excuse to use the toilet. She ran into the master bedroom and she stared into the mirror. Her exacerbated reflection didn't deflect the daring gaze Jonathan had burned into her. "I thought people only ran when they were chased." He spoke from the door, his lean body relaxed on its frame. His voice teased her and pleased her. He moved closer before she could utter a lame excuse. He stopped less than a feet away from her, she cranked her neck to look boldly at him. She could feel his breath on her face but he didn't touch her still. So why could she feel him everywhere? *------------------------------------------------* Best Rankings on RTF: 26/08/2021: #3 Romamcereads2020 06/07/2021: #1 Africa 23/01/2021: #2 Amazon 22/02/2020: #1 Phoniexquill2019 03/05/2020: #1 Taa2019 #1 Projectnaija #5 Amazon #1 Assassin 20/05/2020: #5 BestBooksOnWattpad 14/06/2020: #1 Africabookclub #5 Hotline 16/08/2022 ~ 1/11/2022: #1 Proudnigerian Edited by ©IgweSharonstone ©IgweSharonstone.2019 Disclaimer: the picture in the cover photo doesn't belong to me in any way.
