Red Moon
Skye had spent her entire life avoiding men. Diagnosed with a rare psychosomatic condition triggered by male presence, she had carefully built a world where they didn't exist, attending an all-girls school, surrounding herself only with women, and rejecting the idea that men could ever be anything but untrustworthy. Her father's betrayal had proven that to her long ago. But one night changes everything. Forced to attend a bachelorette party, Skye steps into a bar filled with men for the first time in years. The moment they surround her, her body succumbs to the overwhelming sickness, and she collapses. When she opens her eyes again, she is no longer Skye. She has been reborn as Princess Flanna Caera Lunae Radbourne, the feared Flame Princess of the Southern Empire, a world where women rule, and men serve. In this matriarchal empire, the roles of power are reversed: Empresses command vast armies, princesses wield swords, and men exist solely to obey their liege ladies. Flanna is no exception. Known as the Crimson Warrior, she is ruthless, cunning, and infamous for both her victories on the battlefield and the size of her harem. But Skye is still Skye. The idea of men obeying her, of being hers to command, is more terrifying than enticing. As she struggles to reconcile her past trauma with her new reality, she is thrown into a battle for the throne. The empire demands a ruler, and all princesses are contenders, Flanna included. If she does not fight for the crown, she will become a pawn in someone else's game. With enemies lurking in the shadows, suitors vying for her favor, and her own mind waging war against her, Skye must decide: Will she embrace the power of Flanna and take the throne, or will her past fears consume her before she gets the chance? Be My Mistake ~Swanqueen~
Regina Mills had spent her whole life fighting Love, or Evil. When she was younger she fought for the love she had for Daniel, and tried her hardest to fight her mother's evil, ultimately ending in losing Daniel. For a while, she tried to fight the evil that began festering inside after the loss, and she lost that battle too. Then, for years she fought the love that Snow White and Prince Charming had for eachother, doing everything in her incredibly vast power to try and ruin it for them. Everything she did fought off love, deep down she felt unworthy of it, even from her own son who she truly loved but still kept at arm's length. When she met Emma Swan, it was different. Emma didn't even try to suck up to the mayor, she didn't care about Henry's stories of her evil-doing, though she did believe him. She wasn't scared of Regina, so she had no love to fight. It felt wrong, but for that very reason, Regina found herself with fondness for Emma. How odd, that the younger woman's lack of love caused the older woman to become fascinated. It felt wrong, and it felt scary, and Regina Mills didn't like feeling scared.Concluida

Truly Selected (Book One of The Next Selection Series)
~ 'Matthew slid closer to me so our bodies were pressed up against each other in a not to intimate way. "I hope I cross your mind every once in a while," Matthew said in an almost whisper. "Just so I don't feel so pathetic for thinking of you all the time." I felt my heart beat at a rapid pace as he said those words to me. Nothing like that had ever been said to me before, and that was all it took for me to reach up to Matthew and connect my lips with his.' ~ Twenty-one years ago, America Singer entered the Selection with no intention of claiming Prince Maxon's heart for herself Now, another Selection is about to surface, and Illéa is more excited than ever. Not only did Maxon and America provide an heir, but twin sons. Sol Soble, a Four from Kent, wanted nothing to do with the Selection. Her life was no fantasy with magic sugar castles and money growing on trees, but she loved Kent and certain things in it; and for that, the Selection wasn't in her best interest. But after a sudden tragedy, Sol's world is rocked to its core and she is doing things she never thought she would do; entering the Selection, going to the Palace, and maybe, even starting to fall in love. It's only common knowledge that when people don't learn from history, it's often doomed to repeat itself. --------------------- DISCLAIMER: All rights go to Kiera CassConcluida
