A collection of poems and thoughts by someone who is a female human being, with morals, opinions, flaws, favorites, dislikes, likes, loves, hates, fears, obsessions, and everything that makes a human a human. She tries her best to make you feel something, but you shouldn't ask why she made it. Instead, you should ask: what does it make me think about? Does it remind you of the smell of snow? A stupid thing you said in second grade that you remember at 3 a.m.? Does it make you feel or will it make the next person who reads feel something?
This might not mean anything to you, but maybe it means too much to her.
This might not mean anything to her, but maybe it means too much to you.
Welcome to a part of her mind.
The key's under the mat, and
don't mind the mess.

(Periodic Updates)Poetry isn't just words put together in a certain rhythm or a smooth way; it's the act of putting yourself and emotions into your writing. It's laying back in the middle of a field and staring up at a cloud and finding all the details that make it unique. It's star gazing and asking yourself questions that could never be answered. It's wondering, it's questions, it's emotions, it's senses, it's poetry.. and every single poem has a trace of yourself in it.
My goal in my poems is to make people think and believe. Think deeper than what everything seems. Look deeper. Don't just read the cover, read the book. Find out what it has to offer, and hopefully you'll find something relatable that helps encourage you or atleast let you know you're not alone.(:
