Katherine Colbert was a 23-year-old woman who had recently escaped from an abusive relationship from her ex-boyfriend, Tony Miller. Katherine was living in the state of California and worked as a waitress for the local O'Charley's in Los Angeles. However, she made a promise to herself that she would never fall in love again for as long as she lived because of her abusive past.

However, Monday Night Raw was around the corner as her best friend, Brianna Michelle, started to coax her into attending the event with her for the night. Katherine, however, wasn't interested in professional wrestling. After Brianna continued to beg Katherine to come with her to the show after buying them both backstage passes to meet the wrestlers, she eventually gave in, leaving Brianna exhilarated.
