In 2055, an unknown chemical snuck its way into the world's water sources. And now, in 2090, Nolen Watts in particular has the ability to transform to and from a wolf. So when he and Rosaline Smith find themselves on the run all while protecting a tiny twelve-year-old, it's understandable that tensions between them are rising. But when a murderer is thrown into the fray, the two are forced to work together - more so than before. He has to get him and his friends out of this alive.
