In 2055, an unknown chemical snuck its way into the world's water sources. By 2060, the entire global population had changed.Everyone now carried the genes of an animal, varying from person to person. 

And now, in 2090, Nolen Watts in particular has the ability to transform to and from a wolf.

So when he and Rosaline Smith find themselves on the run all while protecting a tiny twelve-year-old, it's understandable that tensions between them are rising.

But when a murderer is thrown into the fray, the two are forced to work together - more so than before.
He has to get him and his friends out of this alive. Maybe his legacy will be passed on through stories of mouth. Maybe he won't survive.
Or maybe he does. 

After all, this is a wolf's tail.
