Alexis Montgomery-Logan lived a life of luxury. Great schools, fancy cars, dance training - if she wanted it then she could have it.....well she could, up until one of her parents business associates steps out of line, changing Lexi's life forever. Finding herself living on the streets Lexi is forced to adapt to a new life, learn new skills, rely on old training and surprising new friends. What forced Alexis to the streets? Who will she encounter? What will her next move be? Please note, though this is a sequel to Treading Water, it can be read as a stand alone novel. That being said, if you haven't read Treading Water, please check it out!! You might just love it!!

Alexis Rosalyn Kate Montez grew up privileged and never wanted for anything. She will experience many trials and tribulations during her high school years. She is one who has everything, yet thrives to be the one who feels she has achieved self-actualization. Alexis will learn it isn't so much about having material things, but being at a point mentally where she has conquered all the basic needs and has satisfied all levels necessary to be self sufficient. She will go through a lot spiritually. Her faith will be tested so much but will she fall back into her naive and careless ways or will she reign over it all? Her family is known for covering up the truth with stacks of benjamins but little do they know that you can't cover up the truth with dirty little lies...or money. I, the author, wrote this from a personal perspective. I changed characters names and I changed minor details about some of the characters and their situations. I hope you enjoy!
