Ava Gibson came out the lesser half of a set of twins. Her twin, Ada, is in every way praised for every way Ava isn't. She doesn't get out enough, she's boring, she has no friends. Ava in her lonesome is at her best but everyone is convinced that she is doing herself wrong. They say if someone says something enough everyone starts to believe it and Ava is no exception.
