The Porcelain Doll

Viktor does not remember much. It's a sad little thing that he tries not to think about too often because then he gets anxious and that causes Karla, his caretaker, to fret and he already knows that she has a lot on her plate.

There's nothing more pathetic about a grown man who can't take care of himself and even moreso, to rely on someone for his every basic need. But what can he do? Viktor knows that his body had been broken and put back together again, so the pieces don't work like they used to. All he can do is wait, but Viktor has never been very good at waiting.
