Geralt is stalking a dragon by a lake
He's one of the best
But this will be no piece of cake
There it is resting by the lake
Well, he is better than the rest
He takes out his sword, champion make
A person yells "stop" as he approaches the lake
He's sneaking to surprise The dragon in the west
His sword burning blue, just like the lake
But he won't shake or quake
Although the person looks like he has a muscular chest
He has no chance, his bones will break
A standoff began near the lake
Although the boy looked distressed
No doubt that this would be no piece of cake
Geralt could make no mistake
For the boy was in armour dressed
He could try to fake
But that would be no piece of cake

The inn stopped when a mountain of a man clad in black armor with two swords strapped to his back strode in the door. The minstrels screeched to a halt and everyone cut their chatter to stare. Jaskier went into full emergency mode, giving the musicians the stink eye as he said, "Continue, everyone! It is Belleteyn, after all! Don't miss the dance reels behind the inn, great fun!" Geralt passed through the inn's common room and heard another strange bard singing the first song Geralt had heard about the strange Cat witcher, and Geralt hurried out. "Fucking Cats." "Well, that's just rude. We've only just met," came a stranger's voice. Geralt swirled around and his retort died on his tongue when he caught a whiff of a familiar scent just as he saw the dark brown curls and a Cat medallion. With a growl, Geralt lifted the Cat by his leather armor and slammed him against the stable wall. "What have you done to Jaskier??!" The Cat hissed. His eyes went from the white hair to the golden eyes, and ended on the Wolf medal on Geralt's chest. "Geralt of Rivia." He relaxed in an almost insulting kind of way and lifted an eyebrow knowingly. "So that's how it is." Geralt growled. "You reek of him. It was you. The songs he wrote. Where is he?!" The Cat smirked. "Well, you didn't think you were the only witcher worthy of a song, did you?" Geralt growled. "Since when does a fucking Cat travel with a bard?" "Why not?" the Cat said, mock puzzled. "He's charming, and he was writing songs about me, making me sound so heroic. It's been nice to share the Path with someone. The Path, the ale... and the bedrolls." ... After the whole mess of the dragon hunt, Geralt of Rivia has lost a lover, gained a daughter, and now his bard was singing songs about another witcher. Wait, what? *His* bard? Where had that come from?? -- This fanfic is set in The Witcher Netflix TV series, after episode 6 of season 1. It ignores season two almost completely and sets Geralt on a merry chase to self-discovery and his nemesis: talking about his feelings. "Guys, I got another note," I say as I sit down at lunch. Vanessa and Xander were here but Hazel was missing. "Where's Hazel?" I question, eyeing her empty seat. "Out with Adam today, it's Friday," Xander says whilst I munch on my sandwich. "Did you say you got another note?" He asks and I hold my finger up and try to swallow my food as quickly I can so I can speak again. "Yeah, this one says, 'You look so beautiful in blue, I wish I could say this in person,' I really want to know who's playing this prank," I say and my eyes fall to the only prankster in Waterstone Academy, Sebastein. "I don't think it is Sebastien, he loves attention and this doesn't scream attention," Vanessa says as my eyes land on him. But my eyes move from Sebastien quickly to the hottest man in Waterstone, Vincent. He has been bugging me for a week, trying to talk to me and he even asked me to come to Logan's party on the weekend. My eyes must have been drilling holes into his face because he turns in my directions. I quickly turn back to Xander and Vanessa who were talking about their Art projects. "Okay, so if not Sebastien then who?" I voice my thoughts out loud. "Maybe you have a secret admirer," Xander says in all seriousness and I burst out laughing.
