Margo was ready for the Christmas Dance, getting all dolled up but keeping her usual emo look. When her boyfriend Quinn showed up in a tux, ready to pick her up, she thought the night couldn't get any better. But the night ended in tragedy as a small dog ran across the road. Causing a precious life to be lost. 
Margo is constantly alone, grieving Quinn, but after going over to his best friend's house, Autumn Rosefire, she discovers something Quinn had never had the chance to tell her. 
What secrets were behind the death of Quinn Lovegood? As Margo uncovers Quinn's secrets, and discovers herself, she had to rethink everything she thought she knew. Who can she trust with this new discovery? Why did Quinn only let her know this until after he was dead? Did he know he was going to die? Who caused his death?
