Alice May is a short, cute and hot-headed girl from California. Her life is calm, and mostly stress free until she meets Mason Rivers, a bright eyed, pale boy with a passion for photography. Alice takes an instant disliking to Mason and his cold demeanor. However, when one of Alice's friends turns on her, Mason springs to the rescue. She soon begins to notice that Mason is actually rather caring at heart. Not long after, a series of events pushes them to try and get along but their stubbornness gets in the way.
