The Meek Crusade

"Our holy cause is in peril. Our fighting men have done their part, but now it falls upon the Meek, for it is said, as it has been said, that the Meek alone shall inherent the battlefield!"

The Eastern Reach is no more. Without defenders, the Ecclesiarchy is primed to crumble. Rather than submit to chaotic onslaught, a final crusade is drawn from the ranks of the young, sick, and old: the Meek. They are armed with litany and laslock, intent on service that will guarantee the Emperor's benevolence.

Based on the Children's Crusade of the 13th century, adapted to conform to the lore of Warhammer 40k.
