Katarina Hellstrom is a freelance hacker, working for a company who hunts down vampires. Shortly after she's given a suspicious hacking assignment, her whole life is changed when she's attacked in an alleyway, and wakes up days later able to drink blood and see in the pitch black night

Meanwhile, Lydia is a nurse at a busy city hospital, where she notices something weird- medical proffesionals keep dissapearing at a confusing rate - and it's getting increasingly harder for patients to access blood tranfusions.
