its been a year since the whole world went to hell. zombies roam the street killing anything anything that is alive. it's a battle to survive in this dangerous living. but its been the worst for Katie. at 17 she loses every person she ever loved to these horrible monsters. then she meets Daryl Dixon. the handsome, redneck who takes Katie under his wing and helps her survive. she soon has feelings for him. she knows he's older than her....but the world is ending. so what's really stopping her from falling?

Though their plan changed slightly when they stumbled upon the group of people that just lost a little girl in the woods and two Winchesrters decided to stick around for a few days to help with the search. Because that's what they do, save people. But only for a few days then they will go off again to find Sammy. Or as they thought. Alex wasn't expecting to see anyone out in the woods while looking for her next shelter. The two men seemed like obnoxious, loudmouth rednecks. The ones she had to deal with before shit hit the fan. But now, she rarely saw and dealt with people. She preferred it that way, getting close with people is too risky and will end with someone getting hurt. And going against her better judgment, she becomes close with these men, especially the man with the crossbow. This will be based off The Walking Dead but will definitely be different. I do not claim any characters from The Walking Dead, only the ones that I create. This story is rated R for foul language, gore, and sexual content. In a world overrun by the dead, survival isn't just about skill-it's about trust. Amara Hangings and her best friend, Henry have relied on each other to make it this far. Whenever they are captured by a group, they cross paths with a stuck-up, crossbow prick named Daryl Dixon. Henry sees danger in Daryl. Amara sees something else. As they fight through this new world, an uneasy trust begins to form. But in a world where attachments are a risk, letting someone in could be the most dangerous choice of all. For Daryl, survival has always been black and white-until Amara proves that sometimes, the gray areas are worth the risk. ------------ This roughly takes place in the beginning of TWD. I changed the plot a bit to fit in more Amara x Daryl and to make more of a new plot while keeping the basics of the TWD season 1 plot. In this Daryl is late 20's- early 30's.
