Neither of them thought it would end up like this. One of them hoped for things to happen in a similar fashion but never thought it would actually work.
Cameron just wanted his friend to realise he could be in a happy relationship again. He was tired of seeing Nate with that utterly devastated face every time something came up that made his mind think of his ex. So he went ahead and agreed to play wingman.
Aaron could lie and tell you he just wanted his best friend to confess to his crush already. However thats not all that there was to his plan. He had his eyes on Cameron for a few months now. His plan had two goals essentially. One : Ryan and Nate would be sickeningly in love in a few months at most. Two : He could take his crush on a date and hopefully get a boyfriend.
