"You shouldn't have done that little girl."
Sakura wasn't listening. Her right eye... No... Her right eye socket burned. Tears of pain escaped her single eye left. It hurt. It hurt so bad.
One moment she was at an open field filled with ninja in similar Anbu gear and covering her bleeding eye socket. The next, she was in the arms of the man she called sensei, flying through trees in incredible speed.
His face was horror stricken. He kept on opening and closing his mouth, not knowing what to say. He dodged kunai left and right while shielding the tiny body in his arms the best he could.
"Why?" He finally asked in a broken whisper. Pain in his voice, his face but mostly his eyes.
A bitter, painful smile spread on Sakura's young face. Her eight-year-old body trembling in pain.
"He was going to kill you after taking your eyes. I couldn't let him do that. You're one of my special people. I promised myself I would protect you no matter what."
His heart twisted in pain after hearing her reasoning, not knowing whether to be proud or angry at her for not abandoning her ninja way.
"Sakura-chan... " He said with that same broken whisper and said girl, unable to keep her eyes open any longer, allowed the claws of darkness drag her into unconsciousness the same time her and her sensei's bodies were engulfed in a bright green Susanoo.

They couldn't catch up to Karin? They couldn't save her? He knew there was something they weren't telling him. "What the fuck.... you told me she was safe in this damn village!" Sasuke yelled. He pulled against Naruto, trying to free himself. "You told me to trust you damn it!" "Naruto..." Kakashi murmured. "I'm sorry Sasuke..." He mumbled from behind him. The last thing Sasuke remembered was Naruto hitting the back of his neck. So I guess this is how Sakura felt... ------- Uchiha Burden is a spin off from Chidori Heart. Sakura cant stand all of the relationships that are happening while Sasuke is gone, but when Sasuke comes home, it triggers more events then any of them ever expected. Are you staying in Konoha? great. Can you say hi for me to a kid...? Don't worry it's impossible to miss him out. His hairs always reflect the light of the sun in them and his eyes can make you drown in the biggest of oceans. He also haves that beatiful smile. His biggest trait... You know what? Just search for a child that has the ability to make the brightest of stars jealous, because it'll never shine as purely as he does. Or will it? ...Poor soul. Has your sensei not thaught you to look beyond the deception? It turns out this boy is incredible at acting. I mean, always smiling with a broken heart isn't an easy task.. Yet, he does it on a daily basis, maybe for work, maybe for self protection. No one, maybe not even himself, has seen the scared boy that hides behind the many masks he created. In which Sakura tries to figure out if she's been sent to the past-or an alternate universe with suspicious tweaks. Dying was everything she had expected, an inevitable event, bound to happen sooner rather than later (a lot sooner, actually)-an unstoppable force, driven by the arm of a rabbit goddess piercing through her, and just barely not enough will to survive. And yet, it was nothing she could've ever prepared for. Not when she found herself four years old again, and a pink-haired stranger roamed her strangely empty house, claiming to be her brother. - "Sakura had one thought, waking up screaming her lungs out. Shit. Because she wasn't supposed to be screaming. She wasn't supposed to have a voice at all. And she sure as hell wasn't supposed to know that."

Sasuke looked forward and gasped. A kunai was coming; full speed. "SASUKE!!" Sasuke closed his eyes. He waited for the impact. He opened his eyes to Sakura making eye contact with him. "Sakura...?" The kunai was in her back. She panted in pain. "Sakura...." He couldn't believe she flash stepped in the path of the kunai and him. She collapsed in his arms. He looked where the kunai hit. Over the years, her eyes had never changed and yet she knew exactly where to find and see which person. Her brother Shisui Uchiha was a great help to her, who had taught her everything about chakra. Although she could never really see the faces of her family clearly, she knew exactly how they looked or had to look. But one day, she watched as her parents died and her eyes began to change. The Sharingan had activated, and so Hinari could finally see more than she liked. However, since she was still too young, she was forbidden to ever show her Sharingan and so the little Uchiha had to hide everything in the academy. One boy, however, had taken notice of the Uchiha when he saw that she couldn't see much. He found it admiring and began out of boredom to observe the Uchiha. But that it would one day become love, he would never have thought possible at that moment. Will Hinari Uchiha be able to see properly one day? Can a healer like Tsunade Senju give her sight to strengthen Hinari? Or will the Uchiha turn her back on Konoha like her best friend Sasuke?
