Amanda Marquez just finished her first year of grad school in Chicago. The California Native adjusts to the life of adult world. Unable to visit her family for the entire summer. She pays for her younger sister's plane ticket so she can spend her summer in the windy city.
Nicholas Contreras is just trying to get by supporting his single mother and two younger siblings. Lets not forget the older brother aka black sheep of the family, constantly getting into trouble. Sometimes you do what you have to do to survive. Nicholas understands that. And for this summer he knows its not different from the last.
