Riddick and Dahl have lived an idealic life as husband an wife for the last two years, but now, the dark transformation is re-emerging and with it comes a mysterious message from an unknown stranger promising both answers to old questions, as well as, a possible cure to new problems.

Now, to keep his life in the light with the woman he loves, Riddick must return to the shadows and confront the forces of darkness, once more.
