This is a story that isn't for the faint of heart. I've lost, gained, then lost again. I've been beaten, broken, and shattered like glass. My name is Raven, the closest thing I have to a last name is a service number the EDTF gave me, Sierra-013. The EDTF is a military group that protects Earth against the dark forces that roam it. I am a Soldier from a project of the EDTF, I barely remember my life. I am 17 years old but I can fight better than any other soldier in the EDTF. one reason: Augmentation. the EDTF stands for Earth Defense Task Force. the year is 2372, yet I can't die of old age for another 2 thousand years, due to augmentation. We are at war with dark forces that want nothing but death and destruction to innocents. My job is to prevent their plans from occurring. Their leader is unknown, we only know their cause and power, and that the group is mostly comprised of Dragons, evil ones. But there are good ones, they're just hard to find. The being wasn't like other's any of them had seen. They wanted to know how it was possible in the world that was nothing but desert, and infection. 0-Sa was also alone, which was unusual for the species. The Irinaut became valuable quite quickly, having found no spore infection visibly on him. The team had one job, obtain and return the creature alive, but they would soon come to find out that the cargo would be more difficult to transport then they thought.
