BadgerClan was known as the strongest Clan of the three clans. Only strong warriors and incredibly wise medicine cats would be accepted as one of the cats in their clan. Any cat who wasn't wise or strong would be trained until they were. Moonpaw was an apprentice who refused to do anything she was told to. Strong, but ignorant, refusing to do anything her mentor told her to... and Tumblestar thinks he's found the solution.

Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
