Dear reader, we impart to you here the tales of Eldritch Maiden and her journey as a super heroine! Cloaked in the power of ancient spells and guided by the wisdom of her spiritual companion, Belinda, Eldritch combats the villainous forces that stand ready to prey upon her city. Join her as she confronts a multitude of plots and supervillains, all while surviving a far greater challenge in the form of high school and the difficult time when a girl becomes a woman.
Eldritch Maiden is inspired by Bronze Age comics. This means that while plotlines are grounded in reality and our heroine confronts personal and powered enemies, sometimes things are over the top and downright comic in nature.
AN: Eldritch is also posted on Royal Road. That version will typically be a chapter or two ahead, but as I backfill chapters here I'll do another editing pass, so the quality might be a little higher if you don't mind the wait.

Where most people can only dream of having her gift, she would change out In a heartbeat. When danger strikes, it's only her gift that can be used to stop it. They put on shows to use their powers and learn to control them. They even have some fangirl moments. I mean what good is a story without the main character being a fangirl. And we can't forget the romance moments. Hey, I'm vic, I suck at summaries. Let's be a villain! 15-years-old Marissa Everstar makes a Faustian bargain to receive superpowers, in the hope they will make her famous. But when being a superhero turns out to mainly involve boring work that does not get her the immediate popularity she craves, she shifts gears and becomes a villain. Trigger warning: contains descriptions of physical and emotional abuse, blood and gore. Excerpt from chapter 2: I carefully begin pouring the white powder onto the floor, drawing a large pentagram. I spend a lot of time on the intricate details, making sure everything is perfect. The summoning circle quite small, but it will have to do. I clap my hands twice and hear a soul-crushing scream that appears to pierce my body to its core. Hearing the sound fills my stomach with butterflies and gives me a fuzzy feeling. I haven't heard a single sound in almost a year. Following the scream, a shadowy figure emerges. He appears deep black, littered with stars, as if a human-like shape has been carved out of the universe, but also strangely transparent, as if made of glass. His long arms end in clawed fingers, and his ears and horns are goat-like in appearance. On his back are two bat-like wings. He speaks in a deep voice-the only one I've heard in a long time.
