This story is an excerpt from my book 'In a Field of Dandelion' that I am still working on. This part of the story is probably not going to be in the first book but could be in a later installment. This part of the story is also a flashback chapter so the character does not start out the series with this mindset. In this chapter young Caelum Jefferson and her family are about to get the announcement that will change their lives, and how long they live them.
