People, in general, are irritating. Especially, to Emerson Walsh, an antisocial teenager who's never related to regular people. He's not a good person. He'll do what he needs to get what he wants. When he's bored, you'll never know what he'll want to do.
If you're not him or someone who crossed him, though, you'll think he's a great guy. He's nice, charismatic, and he's helpful.
He knows he's not a normal person; he just doesn't really care.
