Colour has completely disappeared, almost. Soil corruption from increased pollution altered based ingredients for all medications and narcotics. The effects were that people experienced more effective loss of sensations like pain, but also slowly lost the reception of colour. The substances also became more addictive and near impossible to withdraw from. Generations of children inherited their parents trauma from the medications and substances, until Coal. Her parents made the sacrifice to withdraw while they carried her, but birth was as far as they could be with her. All alone, Cole could see the world for how it truly was. Henry believed he could never heal from his parents substance and emotional abuse, until Coal came and showed him how to see all the colours of light.

A story of love, pain, and second chances. In a world where friendships crumble and kisses taste of betrayal, some wounds cut deeper than skin. A lover's touch can heal-or destroy. Behind every smile hides a secret. Behind every promise, a lie. And in the ashes of loss and sabotage, hearts still ache for the kind of love that survives it all. Different, yet the same-bound by the bruises and scars of their choices, their pasts, their mistakes. Some wounds break, some redeem... but in the end, love always leaves its mark. *** ⚠️ Disclaimer: Sensitive Content This story explores themes of sexual abuse, human trafficking, grooming, emotional trauma, domestic violence, and morally complex relationships. It delves into the long-term psychological impact of abuse and how it can distort one's understanding of love, trust, and self-worth. The characters, their actions, and their choices are entirely fictional and are not intended to condone or glorify abuse, manipulation, or inappropriate relationships of any kind. Reader discretion is strongly advised. Started: May 2025 *** Bruiseprint - a made-up name. Some loves leave marks, not just the kind that hurt, but the kind that shape us. They stay with us like prints. Our bruises tell stories. Pain leaves a print, but so does healing. This is the imprint of a love that changed them both. Thank you for reading ❤️♾️
