No truer words were ever spoken about Drew Hawthorne. Werewolf and gladiator, all he has ever known is death and hatred. Until one day he's given an opportunity, a purpose, by Roksov, leader of the largest rebellion in the north. He's given the chance to topple the regime that has made his life hell. 
And he takes it.
Infiltrating the capital city of Saevus with his new companion Blaze Green, a Hellhound and professional mercenary, Drew works his way into the favor ot the Crown Prince, the castle guards, and a young woman who tells him to call her Snaps. 
But perhaps making an unbreakable oath with a half-wolf wasn't the best idea. Especially since Roksov seems to not only want to ill the king, but every other human he can get his fangs in. 
Then again, Drew is a monster. And monsters aren't known for keeping oaths or showing mercy. Monsters get what they want, disregarding all rules and standards. But Drew doesn't know what he wants, only that he'll kill to get it. 
And kill he does. In fact, he starts a civil war.
